I have lived in Chico for about 14 years. During that time, I have been off-and-on enrolled at Chico State. I have always been very involved with student rights and campus activism. in many and varied ways.

I have witnessed many historical events on campus and I have met and worked with many historical figures here too.


The articles you see here are as they were published. I have not yet gone through with comments to correct the errors of fact.
Stories from the Whitney Hall Drug Bust
On November 14, 1996, the university conducted an undercover drug bust in the dorms. Ten students were arrested. In my capacity as President of the Chico Cannabis Coalition, I organized protests. Ultimately all criminal charges were dropped.
Stories from my term as Director of Academic Affairs
May 15, 1998 - May 15, 1999. I was the elected official charged with representing the student body on academic affairs including all policies made on the campus and CSU level. In this capacity I was a director of a Non Profit Public Benefit Corporation with annual revenue over $20 Million, and acted on behalf of, and in the interest of the student body.
